I V A N A A R M A N I N I - a comics author, illustrator, designer and photographer. Graduated from the University of Fine Arts in Zagreb, Croatia where she won the Dean's Award. In 2005. "AGM" (Croatian editorial brand) published her comic book "The Adventure of the Gloria Scott", based on short stories by Mima Simić.
Ivana is a founder and coordinator of Komikaze ( www.komikaze.hr ), starting 2002. The primary idea of the project is a regional and international network of comic authors that involves internet and print publishing, comic-workshops and multimedia happenings. During last 10 years she lead (and participate) more than 50 comix and street workshops and organized around 130 exhibitions in coordination with lots of NGO associations.
